Our client has been established since 1998 and is a leading specialist in the design and installation of high-end windows, doors, and conservatories across both the commercial and residential sectors. They are seeking an experienced Window and Door Service Engineer to join their busy and skilled team. This role would also suit experienced window and door fitters looking to move away from heavier installation work into a more service-focused position.
The Role
- You will be field-based, working across private residential properties and completed development sites, with regular travel to HQ required (ME2 2AH).
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining windows and doors
- Supporting installation and remedial works where required
- Working across both domestic and commercial environments
- Diagnosing and resolving on-site issues efficiently
- Representing the company professionally in customers' homes and on-site
- Working as part of a team to complete scheduled jobs
Requirements
- Essential
- Proven experience in windows/fenestration (installation, maintenance, or fabrication)
- Strong practical knowledge of window and door systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel to sites and HQ as required
- Desirable
- Candidates should ideally live within a 1-hour commute to Strood, Kent
- CSCS card (training can be provided for non-card holders)
- Previous experience in service/repair work within the fenestration industry
- Experience working in both residential and site-based environments
