Are you the right person for the job?
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, retail, or sustainability sectors
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, social media, PPC, email marketing, and the use of AI in marketing
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft clear and compelling messaging for retailers navigating legislative challenges
- Experience using marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.) to measure and optimise performance
- An interest or experience with Retailers, ESG, ethical sourcing, and sustainability would be highly desirable
- Proven experience in planning and executing an annual industry event, from content curation to logistics and audience engagement
- A proactive approach to new ideas and campaign execution
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners
- Take ownership of your strategies, budget, activities and value generation
- UK‑based and able to work remotely, with flexibility to attend occasional face‑to‑face meetings as required
What will your role as a Marketing Manager look like?
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement
- Manage and grow our online presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, in B2B media (Drapers, Retail Week, Green Retail Week), and other relevant platforms
- Create compelling content, including blog posts, case studies, social media updates, and email campaigns
- Oversee and manage our website for SEO, ensuring improved visibility and organic traffic growth
- Support the development and execution of thought leadership initiatives, including whitepapers, webinars, industry reports and legislative fact sheets
- Analyse and report on campaign performance, using data‑driven insights to refine marketing strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging
- Identify and engage with industry influencers, media outlets, and potential brand partners to expand our reach
- Manage our annual Retail Supply Chain Sustainability conference attended by leading retailers and partners
- Establish key marketing KPI metrics and report progress against them
- Lead in improvements to our website to drive engagement, communication of our value proposition, knowledge sharing and qualified lead generation
- Manage activities against an annual budget and report on results and return on investment
