The company was founded to meet a clear need in the Irish market for a specialist stockist capable of designing and manufacturing bespoke lintels. Their core focus is delivering high-quality products within the tight timescales required by the Irish construction sector. Today, they are the sole importer of Catnic Lintels in Ireland and hold a comprehensive range of standard Catnic products in stock. Bespoke lintels are designed in-house and manufactured at their facility in Forkhill, Co. Down.
Role Overview
The Technical Sales Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the technical sales team by managing enquiries received through the company website, email, and CIS system. The role involves preparing accurate and timely pricing quotations, as well as proactively following up on enquiries to help improve conversion rates. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring quotations are competitive, accurate, and delivered promptly, contributing directly to business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and respond to enquiries from the sales team and customers via phone and email, clarifying requirements and providing relevant information.
- Prepare accurate and detailed quotations based on requests from sales representatives and incoming enquiries in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the sales team and internal departments to obtain technical and pricing information.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, pricing, and customer communications within the company system.
- Support quotation follow-up activities to improve conversion rates and provide additional information where required.
- Ensure all quotations align with company pricing policies, target margins, and commercial terms.
- Monitor and update the pricing database for products and services.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing details in customer enquiries by proactively seeking clarification.
- Assist the Sales Manager with reporting on quotations, pipeline activity, and customer interactions.

- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
