Our client is a family-run business established in 1975, well known in the area for their swimming lessons. The company has two sites within 10 minutes of each other and prides itself on never having to close the pools unless absolutely necessary.
In this role, you will play a vital role in the facility's well-being, ensuring all equipment is working fully and safely, and that the team and customers have an enjoyable experience every time they visit.

Are you the right person for the job?
- Pool Plant Operators Qualification is desirable but not essential
- Good customer service
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Full UK driving licence (car between sites can be provided)
- Swimming background desirable but not essential
- Ability to devise and supervise a programme of maintenance

- Enthusiastic individual prepared to go the extra mile to achieve successful outcomes
What will your role look like?
- Health and safety checklists: ensuring all machines and equipment are checked to prevent malfunctions
- Operate and maintain the swimming pool dosing and control systems for safe swimming conditions
- Carry out general repairs to pool plant and maintenance within facilities
- Work alongside the PSOP and PTOP to ensure compliance with practices
- Support and share knowledge with the management team regarding health and safety requirements
- Ensure each facility is ready to open each day
- Rectify any issues in a timely manner
- Manage repairs and order cleaning products, chemicals, merchandise, and food and drink products
- Work out of hours if needed
- Conduct pool plant maintenance checks and operation
- Chemical supervision and checks
Hours and days can be made flexible to suit the employee's needs and the demands of the business.
