£30,000 £35,000 DOE Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pm Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a role where accuracy, organisation and client service are at the heart of what you do? Our client provides professional payroll services to employers, supporting clients with payroll, tax, pensions and related payroll requirements. The Role As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payrolls for multiple companies of varying sizes, ensuring they are accurate and completed within the required deadlines. You will also manage workplace pensions, liaise with clients and HMRC, and keep up to date with changes affecting payroll. Key Responsibilities
Processing weekly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls
Processing new starters, leavers, salary amendments and personal detail changes
Maintaining sickness records and processing SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP
Keeping up to date with changes to NIC, minimum wage and workplace pension thresholds
Liaising with HMRC and clients
Registering new PAYE schemes through HMRC
Liaising with pension providers
Setting up and processing workplace pensions Requirements
Minimum 4 years' experience as a payroll bureau administrator
Experience setting up and processing workplace pensions
Experience processing payroll for multiple companies of varying sizes
Strong attention to detail and organisation
Confident working independently and to tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player Desirable
Teachers' Pensions experience
