We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Litigation Solicitor to join a busy and close-knit litigation team based in Ashbourne. The work sits primarily within the Business and Property Courts jurisdiction (historically Chancery), offering exposure to a diverse and intellectually challenging caseload. This is not a narrow or high-volume debt recovery role. Instead, you will work across varied and complex disputes involving land, estates, wealth, and business interests, gaining early responsibility and meaningful client exposure within a highly supportive environment.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a bright, practical and driven junior solicitor who is eager to build a career in specialist litigation.
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor (02 PQE ideally; up to 3 considered)
- Some litigation experience (commercial, property or civil preferred)
- Strong academic background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of work with appropriate supervision
Desirable:
- Experience running own files
- Exposure to Business & Property Court work
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and procedural documents
- Interest in rural, agricultural or countryside-related matters (advantageous but not essential)
