Our client is a specialist industrial service provider delivering high-value technical services to the refining, petrochemical and energy industries. Their expertise includes catalyst handling, silo cleaning, reactor services, and industrial chemical solutions delivered to some of the world's leading industrial operators. As part of an international industrial services group, they combine global expertise with strong local delivery.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Manager to join their UK team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop business within a highly specialised technical sector, working closely with refineries, petrochemical plants, and industrial clients across the UK and Europe. The Role
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the refinery, petrochemical, and industrial sectors
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients and industry partners
- Promote company services, including catalyst handling, silo cleaning, and reactor support services
- Identify upcoming turnarounds, shutdown projects, and maintenance opportunities within the industry
- Support marketing activities, including LinkedIn presence, website content, and promotional initiatives
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and technical discussions
- Assist with preparing proposals, commercial offers, and project presentations
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and delivered
Requirements
- Essential Experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify new opportunities in technical industries
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven attitude
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams
- Full UK driving licence
