Our client is seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and versatile Security and Customer Services Officer to join their friendly team. Situated in a beautiful waterside setting on the outskirts of Lincoln, this role combines traditional security with high-level customer service. As the face of the estate, you will ensure the safety of residents and visitors while maintaining the professional standards of their environment.

Requirements
- Essential
- A current, valid SIA Licence is essential
- A full, clean manual UK Driving Licence is essential
- Strong computer literacy, excellent English communication skills, and a positive "can-do" attitude
- Must be comfortable with lone working and committed to a 365-day operational rota (including weekends and bank holidays)
- Previous experience in security or a customer-facing administrative role is highly preferred
The Role
- Shift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off (Rotating days and nights)
- Hours: 12-hour shifts (05:30–17:30 / 17:30–05:30); Minimum 42 hours per week
Security & Safety
- Monitor and operate CCTV, gates, barriers, and intercom systems
- Conduct regular patrols of the estate by foot and company patrol vehicle
- Respond to and report any security or safety incidents promptly and accurately
- Perform routine checks on critical equipment, including defibrillators (AEDs) and fire alarm systems, ensuring all are in working order and correctly logged
- Assist with key-holding duties and maintain secure access control
Customer Service & Administration
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to residents, visitors, and guests
- Handle basic duties, including managing emails, answering phone calls, and processing payments
- Coordinate effectively with team members, management, and suppliers, providing clear and detailed handovers between shifts
General
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the Management Company to ensure the smooth operation of the estate
