Lift Service & Call-Out Engineer | North West & Surrounding Areas | Full-Time | Up to £43,000 DOE (plus standby and overtime)
Our client provides a comprehensive range of products and services, including the design and installation of new lifts, maintenance of existing lifts, and service and repair for all types of passenger and service lifts.
With over 40 years of experience, they are an independent and passionate company that has built an outstanding reputation for service throughout the UK. They work in close partnership with their clients to fully understand their needs, allowing them to deliver bespoke solutions for all lift requirements.
Due to the continued growth and expansion of the business, they are now seeking an experienced Service & Call-Out Engineer to cover the North West and surrounding areas.
Are you the right person for the job?
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (Required)
- CSCS / SSSTS certification
- Proven experience working on lifts – especially Kleemann lifts, plus other major OEMs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Good written and spoken English
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to reliably commute or relocate to Manchester, M40 8FY
What will your role look like?
- Servicing and maintaining a variety of lifts across the North West and surrounding areas
- Responding to call-outs and performing minor reactive repairs
- Working directly with clients to ensure excellent service delivery
- Maintaining accurate service records and reporting
- Diagnosing faults and recommending solutions across multiple lift types and brands
What can you expect in return?
- Competitive salary up to £43,000 DOE, plus standby and overtime
- Standby pay £250 per week (currently 1 in 5) and £50 per call attendance covering the first 2 hours, including travel
- Overtime uncapped, paid 1.5x Monday–Saturday and 2x Sunday and Bank Holidays
- 24 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
