Our client is a friendly, trusted, and long-established accountancy firm experiencing significant growth. Led by the Founder and supported by a retired Big 4 Managing Partner as a non-executive, they combine deep professional expertise with a personal, client-focused approach.

Are you the right person for the job?
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
- May suit those qualified by experience in select cases
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Xero; familiarity with QuickBooks and Sage beneficial (we use Xero and Digita)
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
What will your role look like?
- Producing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Creating and reviewing management accounts for a wide range of clients
- Completing corporate and personal tax returns
- Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return processes
- Keeping up to date with legislative changes and industry regulations
- Working closely with the Principal to manage and implement firm growth strategies
- Training and mentoring other members of the team
- Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their goals and identifying ways to support them
- Utilising a dedicated business development budget (after induction) for client and growth initiatives
