Are you the right person for the job?
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be an advantage
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification
- 5+ years of audit experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong technical expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, and UK auditing standards
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement
- A proactive mindset with a passion for quality and attention to detail
What will your role look like?
- Audit Planning & Execution: Lead and oversee audits from initial planning to final completion. Develop audit strategies tailored to the specific requirements of the audit engagement. Deliver robust audit documentation that meets the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and inspire a talented audit team. Review the work of junior staff, providing constructive feedback to support their professional growth. Deliver training sessions on audit methodologies and technical skills.
- Client Relationship Management: Be the trusted point of contact for clients, building and nurturing professional relationships. Understand client businesses to identify opportunities for adding value. Provide insightful recommendations tailored to their audit and assurance needs.
- Technical Proficiency & Quality Assurance: Stay ahead of changes in accounting and audit regulations. Perform quality assurance reviews to maintain top-tier standards. Solve complex audit challenges with expert technical knowledge.
