We do not need you to have recruited before. We need you to be organised, driven and someone who does what they say they'll do. If that's you, we'll teach you everything else.
The role
This is a 180 recruitment consultant position (NO Business Development) — Although there will be some client management, the majority of the work will be on the candidate side. This is a great step into the recruitment world. Talent Finder is a recruitment company built on one idea: you should always know exactly what you're paying and why. No hidden fees, no inflated margins, no fluff — just straightforward hiring done properly. We're not your typical agency, and we're proud of it.
You'll build relationships with the businesses we work with, understand exactly what they need, and then go and find it. That means searching LinkedIn, job boards, and our database every single day to identify the right people for the right roles. It's a fast-paced environment. Priorities shift. Clients need answers quickly. You'll need to stay on top of a pipeline, keep your records spotless in our system, and communicate proactively — not wait to be asked.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of clients — understanding their hiring needs, timelines, and culture
- Sourcing candidates daily across LinkedIn, CV-Library, Reed, and our internal database
- Screening candidates and matching them to live roles with precision
- Running update calls with clients and keeping them informed at every stage
- Keeping your ATS pipeline accurate and up to date — every candidate, every stage, every time
- Following our recruitment process from first brief to placed candidate without shortcuts
What we're looking for
- A degree in any subject — we care about how you think, not what you studied
- Someone who takes detail seriously — you notice things others miss and you care about getting it right
- Strong organisational skills — you can manage multiple tasks at once without dropping anything
- Confident communicator — comfortable picking up the phone and holding a professional conversation
- A genuine interest in people and what makes them tick
- Someone who follows through — if you say you'll do something, you do it
What you don't need
Prior recruitment experience is not required. We'll train you on everything — our systems, our process, our clients. What we can't train is work ethic, attention to detail, or the drive to hit your targets. You bring those; we'll give you the rest.
What success looks like in your first 90 days
- You've made multiple hires and have candidates at the offer stage
- Your clients trust you to update them without being chased
- Your pipeline is always accurate — no exceptions
- You're on your way to hitting a 50%+ fill rate on your assigned roles
What we offer
- Competitive base salary with potential for bonuses
- Structured onboarding and a clear 30-60-90 day plan so you always know where you stand
- A desk that grows with you — the more you fill, the more you grow
- Career progression opportunities
- A team that's direct, supportive, and doesn't micromanage people who perform
