Experienced Conveyancer | Shirebrook | Full Time | £35,000–£55,000 per annum
Our client is a friendly, multi-disciplinary high street law firm with offices in Mansfield, Shirebrook and Nottingham. They specialise in criminal defence, family law, conveyancing and wills and probate, providing high-quality legal services through legal aid or at affordable prices.
The Role
They are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their residential conveyancing team and manage their own caseload of property transactions. The workload mainly involves freehold sales and purchases, alongside leasehold and new-build transactions.
You will need strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and a client-focused approach, with the ability to manage transactions independently and resolve complex title issues. The firm is looking for someone who can work confidently without training in the core conveyancing process, with a short settling-in period available.
You will be supported by a dedicated assistant, with file opening and post-completion registrations handled by other team members. You will report to the Head of Department/Partner, who will be available for supervision and technical queries.

· Handling freehold sales and purchases, alongside leasehold and new-build transactions
· Managing title investigations, searches, enquiries, contract packs, exchange and completion
· Dealing with complex conveyancing matters, including chains, unregistered properties, shared ownership, transfers of equity, remortgages and lease extensions
· Managing client and third-party communications independently, with support from an assistant
· Carrying out detailed source of funds checks and meeting relevant compliance requirements
· Handling Land Registry requisitions arising from post-completion registrations
· Maintaining accurate, organised files and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
· Delegating appropriate administrative tasks to your assistant
· Working closely with the Head of Department/Partner, seeking technical guidance where required
