Welder | Wisbech, PE14 8JT | Full Time | £14.00 per hourOur client is a leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of temporary fencing, site hoarding and barriers, operating across more than 20 locations in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. They manufacture more than 1.6 million units each year and serve a range of sectors, including construction and security.
The RoleThey are looking for a Welder to join their Wisbech Depot, responsible for manufacturing steel fence components and gates to the required specification and cosmetic finish.
Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture steel fence components and gatesCarry out MIG weldingRead and interpret engineering drawingsUse measuring equipmentEnsure sound weld joints and a good cosmetic finishSand and grind components or assemblies to remove splatter and ensure the optimal fit of components for onward finishingMonitor welding processes and ensure materials are free from shrinkage and distortionCarry out any other reasonable duties as requiredRequirementsEssentialAbility to work as part of a teamComfortable lifting steel components and standing for long periods while carrying out manual weldingDesirablePrevious experience in fabrication or weldingWhat's In It For You£14.00 per hourFull-time, permanent positionFull training providedCompany pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingWhat's next?
