Qualifications:
- City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Test and Inspection Qualification
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a fully qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer
- Experienced in Testing and Inspection, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings
- Familiar with NICEIC requirements
- Successful Apprentice Training experience, with the ability to coach and develop others
- Exceptional communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Calm under pressure, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously or with an apprentice
- Presentable, professional, and able to follow company and client requirements
What will your role look like?
- Diagnose and rectify faults, upgrades, finals, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications, technical drawings, and 18th Edition requirements
- Perform full Test & Inspection on all works and ensure correct completion of NICEIC certification for Supervisor authorisation
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed at all times, maintaining a safe working environment
- Take responsibility for training, progression, and management of an accompanying Apprentice, ensuring development is reported for appraisal purposes
