Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 incl. overtime @ basic rate x1.75 (dependant on experience)
Scotland's largest frozen vegetable processing factory. A secure & long-established business.
Working in a factory & workshop environment within a team of 8 engineers.
Processing Season: July - September
12-Hour Shifts: 4 Days On / 1 Day Off / 4 Nights On / 3 Days Off Rotation
Out of Season: October - June Mon – Thurs: 07:30 – 16:30, Fri: 07:30 – 14:00
Job Responsibilities:
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, inspection and testing
- Respond, diagnose and resolve faults & breakdowns
- Installation & commissioning of new equipment
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Electrical or Mechanical experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Completed a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship
- Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems & PLC controlled equipment
- Experience with conveyors & chain driven equipment
- Working both independently and within a team
