We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Welfare Unit Operative to join our team. This role is heavily focused on cleaning, hygiene, and the overall presentation of welfare units, ensuring every unit meets high standards before and after each site visit. You’ll also be responsible for servicing and restocking units, carrying out generator testing and servicing, and completing basic mechanical and electrical checks. Due to the locations of our sites, three overnight stays per week are required (Meal Allowance will be paid).

What will your role look like?
- Carry out thorough cleaning of welfare units, ensuring toilets, canteens, drying rooms, and wash areas are hygienic, tidy, and fully stocked
- Maintain consistently high hygiene and presentation standards in line with company expectations
- Perform generator testing, routine checks, and basic servicing
- Conduct basic mechanical and electrical inspections
- Identify and report defects, and complete minor repairs where appropriate
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to the company's and compliance standards
- Complete relevant paperwork and digital records accurately
- Provide excellent customer service on every visit
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and site rules
