Role Overview
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business development, managing client relationships, and supporting sales growth across the Republic of Ireland. While this is a sales-focused role, it is primarily office-based, with occasional customer meetings and site visits as required. This structure reflects the high proportion of work conducted within a 30-mile radius of the office and supports the company’s operational needs, particularly following changes within the current sales team.
- Generate new sales leads and develop a strong pipeline of clients
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure all quotations align with pricing structures, margins, and commercial policies
- Support the Sales Manager with pipeline reporting and sales forecasting
- Maintain and update pricing and product databases
Requirements
- 5 years experience in sales or business development within Construction, Builders Merchants, Engineering, or a related sector
- Professional communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
- Ability to quickly integrate into a fast-paced sales environment and deliver immediate impact
- Strong understanding of margin control and commercial pricing structures
€50,000 monthly sales: Company vehicle, fuel card, and expenses provided
Hybrid working approach (primarily office-based with site/customer visits)
Free or subsidised travel
