As FCS continues to expand across London, we are looking to recruit experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to join our growing team. This expansion creates excellent career progression and development opportunities as the business continues to grow, offering long-term prospects for the right candidates.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to carry out the maintenance, installation, and repair of fire safety systems across London and the surrounding areas. This is a field-based role requiring a professional, customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting
- Complete remedial works following inspections and servicing
- Undertake installation works as required
- Attend reactive call-outs, including participation in the out-of-hours call-out rota
- Complete electronic job reports and paperwork daily
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience working within the fire industry
- Level 3 qualification for BS 5839 Part 1:2025
- Good working knowledge of BS 5839 and BS 5266
- Based in London or the surrounding areas
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
- Full UK driving licence
