Are you the right person for the job?
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with ideally 2-3 years of experience
- Seeking a long‑term opportunity to grow within a stable, supportive team
- Confident communicator, able to handle client emails, phone calls, and updates professionally
- Exposure to civil engineering, highways, flood risk, or drainage design – with flood risk experience particularly desirable
- Detail‑oriented, reliable, and motivated to develop technical skills through hands‑on learning and mentoring
What will your role look like?
- Work on a range of commercial and residential projects
- Prepare designs, drawings, and calculations for flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and highway works
- Develop detailed designs for surface water management, SuDS, and foul and storm drainage networks
- Support the delivery of designs in line with Section 104/106 and Section 38/278 agreements
- Use InfoDrainage (training provided) as your primary software tool; experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is also beneficial
- Communicate directly with clients and project partners, keeping them informed and supported throughout each stage
- Work as part of a team of engineers and consultants
