Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (overtime available)
Salary: £12.75 – £13.25 per hour (depending on experience), with training and progression opportunities to increase earnings.
Founded in 1996, our client is an independent freight forwarder and warehouse provider based in the South West. They specialise in global logistics and deliver end-to-end fulfilment services to a diverse client base.
They are now looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operative to join their busy team. This is a fast-paced environment, so you'll need to be comfortable working efficiently, supporting colleagues, and keeping operations running smoothly during peak periods. Reliability and a strong work ethic are key — this is a role for someone who takes pride in their work and is willing to get stuck in. There is also the opportunity to enrol in a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship, alongside genuine long-term progression.
The Role
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
- Organising and storing stock within the warehouse
- Supporting stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory records
Requirements
- Essential
- Reliable, hardworking, can-do attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25kg
- Good basic numeracy and literacy
- Clear communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Previous warehouse experience
- Forklift licence or pallet stacker experience
