Due to rapid growth in the EV sector and multiple contract wins, they are now expanding their team.
Engineers are at the heart of their business, and you will receive full support with ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression.
You'll work on a diverse range of domestic and commercial EV charging installations across the UK, partnering with leading organisations within the electric vehicle sector.
The role offers a varied workload, predominantly carrying out home installations, while also supporting workplace charging, commercial infrastructure projects, and service and maintenance work, providing excellent experience across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of domestic, commercial & industrial electrical and EV installations
- Carry out inspection and testing
- Install EV charge points in commercial and domestic properties
- Service and maintain EV charge points
- Diagnose and repair faults on EV charge points (training will be given if needed)
- Install general power and lighting systems
- Install containment systems including tray, trunking & ladder rack
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Carry out domestic and commercial electrical surveys
Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or JIB registered Gold Card
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- C&G 2919 EVSE Installation Course or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' electrical experience
- Minimum of 1 year's commercial EV charger experience
- Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points
- Proven or extensive experience in all aspects of installation works
- A moderate degree of computer literacy
- A fantastic attitude to work
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a flexible approach to problem-solving
- Hard-working with a passion for assisting customers
- Able to organise your own workload
