Our client opened in 2005 and is a family-run business operating under a franchise for Dyno-Plumbing & Heating, which is owned by British Gas. Through their team of 26 qualified Plumbers with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, they offer all plumbing work from a leaking stop tap to full bathroom installation, as well as upgrading hot water systems to an unvented system.
The Role
- Carry out excavation works to access underground water mains and service pipes
- Locate, diagnose and repair leaks on the external water network
- Replace or repair damaged sections of pipework
- Reinstate excavation areas safely and to a good standard
- Work closely with dispatch to manage job allocation and updates
- Liaise with customers regarding access and work being carried out
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards
- Participate in emergency and out-of-hours rota where required
Requirements
- Essential NVQ Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds in Plumbing or equivalent/time served experience
- Experience in plumbing, groundwork, or utilities/mains repair (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable with outdoor excavation and manual work in all weather conditions
