This is a fantastic opportunity for a Bookkeeper/Account Assistant to join a fabulous firm of accountants! The team offers advice on many areas of financial advice and is proud of the service they offer their clients. No two jobs are the same and you will enjoy a variety of work.
Are you the right person for the job?
- AAT Qualification (Level 2, 3, 4 or qualified through experience)
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to use or learn various accounting software systems (experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage would be a bonus)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally experienced in payrolls, CIS returns, VAT returns, and preparation of income tax returns
What will your role look like?
- Carrying out various aspects of accounts preparation to support the senior accountants, including management accounts and year-end accounts
- Daily interaction with clients
- Assisting with VAT returns, payroll, and CIS returns in line with HMRC deadlines
