Our client, a Building Management System (BMS) company, is currently seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their team. The design, installation, and maintenance of BMS, including HVAC and industrial networking solutions, require a workforce with diverse and highly specialised skill sets. Since its establishment in 2000, the company has grown steadily, developing a strong reputation and expanding its role as a trusted expert in Building Management Systems.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Strong experience with BMS/HVAC systems and control routines
- Have at least 5 years experience with Tridium Niagara N4, preferably 10 years
- Proficient with Tridium Niagara N4, including software fault-finding and modifications
- Ability to read and interpret control panel wiring schematics and manufacturers' literature
- Skilled in BACnet, Modbus, and MBus integration and networking
- Confident using Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe, and familiar with basic networking (Ethernet/CAT6)
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
- Holds a valid ECS trade card and CSCS Health & Safety certification
- Tridium N4 certification and BCIA BCM001–006 courses (preferred)
What will your role look like?
- Commission BMS systems and carry out software and graphics modifications as required
- Conduct functional system checks and point-to-point testing to verify installations
- Support client demonstrations, training, and project handovers
- Maintain detailed and accurate commissioning documentation, including test sheets and snag lists
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times while maintaining a professional working environment
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Commissioning Leads, and Technical Services teams to ensure smooth project delivery
