Our client is a family-run business with over 40 years of experience in the motor industry. They are currently seeking a skilled, experienced, and reliable Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team in Blackburn. As an Independent BMW & Mini Specialist garage and part of the Bosch Car Service network, our client takes pride in offering a high-quality alternative to dealership servicing, while also maintaining and repairing a wide range of other vehicle makes and models.

Are you the right person for the job?
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and repair
- MOT Tester preferred, but not essential, as training will be given
- F-Gas preferred, but not essential, as training will be given
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Professional and presentable appearance with good communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
What will your role look like?
- Carrying out Vehicle diagnostics
- Carrying out Vehicle servicing, replacement of brakes, clutches, tyres, cambelts and general vehicle repairs
- Carrying out paper and digital management of customer, vehicle and parts information
- Management of tracking and security of vehicle keys
- Ensuring the workshop is clean and complies with Health & Safety Regulations
- Liaising with the Service Adviser to ensure that jobs are managed in a timely manner
- Reporting to the Master Technician
- Working in a safe and tidy manner
