Location: Preston
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday – Thursday 08:00 am – 4:30 pm, and Friday 08:00 am – 1:00 pm

The Role
- Maintain and retain existing approvals, including ISO9001, AS9100 and customer-specific approvals
- Improve compliance with customer requirements across all relevant processes
- Lead internal, external and supplier audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across compliance systems
- Conduct compliance checks and approvals at customer enquiry and order stages
- Implement and maintain regulatory compliance systems, including ethical sourcing and export requirements
- Deliver training and raise awareness to support compliance with customer expectations
- Create and maintain documentation to evidence compliance
- Monitor associated processes to ensure ongoing conformity and suitability
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience managing Quality processes
- Strong document writing experience to support compliance systems
- Good understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications
- Demonstrable experience improving systems with a focus on compliance management
- Proven team player with a collaborative approach
- Customer-facing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft IT packages
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability and willingness to travel outside the UK
Desirable
- Experience in Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems and/or environments
- Commercial and strategic awareness within manufacturing or a similar industry
