First established in 2013, our client is a private limited company specialising in the design and project management of Mechanical and Electrical building services. They are a trusted company with a strong base of repeat clients, something they value highly and continually strive to maintain by delivering the most competitive and effective solutions.
The Role
- Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an HVAC Contracts Engineer.
- The role will be based remotely at home, with extensive UK travel required to attend sites and occasional visits to their HQ in Willenhall, West Midlands.
- Manage the installation of HVAC services for various clients throughout the UK, from receipt of order through to completion.
- Attend and report on pre-start meetings and subsequent meetings throughout the contract.
- Manage subcontract labour, materials, and ancillary items.
- Keep clients and the company updated on all matters.
- Ensure installations are compliant, manage quality and ensure completion within target dates and within budget.
- Cost control and production of variation and valuation documents.
- Enforce company/client Health & Safety policies and ensure compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Must be computer literate, self-motivated, personable, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant air conditioning, heating and ventilation experience.
- Candidates will have a proven track record of building strong professional relationships and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Fully IT conversant and competent with working from AutoCAD drawings.
- Hold a valid CSCS Card and SMSTS certification.
