Our client was established in January 2008, and since then, they have grown to become one of the leading bus and coach repair and refurbishment specialists across Sussex and the South Coast. They have a position available for an experienced Bodyshop technician to join their small West Sussex-based team.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Previous experience in coachworks or as a Bodyshop technician.
- Ideally, experience working on commercial HGV and PSV vehicles.
- Some experience in fabrication and welding (bonus).
- A qualification or several years of experience in all aspects of bodywork, preparation, and paint.
What will your role look like?
- Undertake all aspects of a Bodyshop technician role.
- Carry out vehicle preparation.
- Work with filler and fiberglass.
- Paint (spray) using 2K paints, solvent base coat, and clear.
- Conduct accident repairs.
- Strip and fit interior and exterior vehicle components.
