We're working with a well-established and growing organisation in Poole to recruit a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. The Role
As Management Accountant, you'll be a key member of the finance team, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end processes, and providing insight to support business decision-making. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across the finance function, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the wider finance team to ensure delivery of team objectives and deadlines
- Maintain accurate and timely financial transactions within the accounting system
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities, including:
- Ledger close processes
- Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Maintaining fixed asset registers
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting schedules and reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial and regulatory reporting
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong experience in management accounting and month-end processes
- Confident with financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP)
- Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
