Working closely with an experienced CFO, you’ll play a key role in shaping and developing the finance function, strengthening controls, leading a capable finance team and providing the commercial insight needed to support continued growth.

The Role You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst partnering with senior leadership to deliver meaningful financial insight across the business.

Responsibilities will include: Leading, mentoring and developing a finance team, creating a high performing and collaborative culture.

Owning the month end process and delivering accurate, insightful management accounts.

Driving improvements across financial controls, reporting and governance.

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision making.

Business partnering with operational leaders to improve financial understanding across the organisation.

Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and finance processes as the business continues to scale.

Managing external audit and statutory reporting requirements.

Supporting the CFO on strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.

About You We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with commercial awareness and excellent leadership skills.

You’ll ideally have: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance leadership position.

A track record of improving finance functions, controls and reporting.

Experience leading and developing finance teams.

Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior leaders.

A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
