Talent Finance are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Operations Accountant / Business Partner to join a dynamic fast paced business. This is a crucial on-site role within the finance and manufacturing teams, and as such you will work closely with operational stakeholders to drive performance and cost efficiency across the manufacturing processes. This role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant with experience in a manufacturing finance environment, who enjoys being close to the action and adding value beyond the numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the business to prepare and deliver weekly operational and financial performance reporting
- Analyse daily output, yield, and cost performance across production lines
- Track and report labour efficiency and material usage against budgets
- Partner with operations and manufacturing leads to provide real-time insights
- Maintain and develop product costing and margin analysis
- Support wider finance projects and adhoc analysis as required
Person Specification:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong background in product manufacturing and operational finance roles
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP or business intelligence systems
