Temporary Accounts Assistant | Romsey | Full-Time Office Based | £14.00 per Hour An established international manufacturing and consumer products business is seeking an Accounts Assistant who has experience of using Sage 200 to join its finance team on a temporary basis.
This is an immediate requirement and presents an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who is available at short notice and enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced finance environment.
Reporting to the Finance Controller, this role will focus primarily on invoice processing, supplier account management and maintaining accurate financial records, while supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day transactional activities.
The Role This is a hands-on role centred around the accurate processing of invoices and supporting the smooth running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner Matching invoices to purchase orders and investigating any discrepancies Managing supplier account queries and liaising with internal departments to resolve issues Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring accounts remain up to date Assisting with weekly payment runs Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions Supporting bank reconciliations and cash...
