Finance Director

Talent Finance have been engaged to appoint an ambitious, commercially minded Finance Director for a fast‑growing and forward‑thinking business in Poole.

This is a pivotal leadership role is offering the chance to shape long‑term strategy, drive commercial performance, and play a key role in the next phase of the company’s evolution.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll take full ownership of the finance function, leading a capable team and acting as a trusted strategic partner to the Board. You’ll combine strong financial control with commercial insight, helping to steer decision‑making and deliver growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set and deliver the financial strategy to enhance performance, profitability, and long‑term resilience.
• Lead all aspects of financial management, including reporting, forecasting, and planning; ensuring robust control and clarity.
• Deliver forward‑looking analysis and financial modelling to inform investment, pricing, and contract strategy.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic initiatives, including M&A, capital investment, and new market opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve operational and strategic excellence.
• Build trusted relationships with external advisors, investors, and key customers.
