Talent Finance are partnering with an innovative and ambitious Bournemouth based business looking to appoint a commercially astute Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join its high performing finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys working closely with the wider business, influencing commercial decisions and delivering insight that genuinely shapes performance. Sitting at the centre of finance, trading and operations, this role offers broad exposure and the chance to make a visible impact.
You will work alongside senior stakeholders across the business, helping to drive smarter decision making through robust analysis, forecasting and strategic commercial insight.
The opportunity
- Partner with key business areas to provide financial insight that supports trading and operational decisions
- Analyse business performance, identifying trends, opportunities and areas of risk
- Deliver reporting and commercial analysis around promotions, pricing, margin and category performance
- Support forecasting, budgeting and planning activity across multiple teams
- Develop pricing models and competitor analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Improve reporting processes, helping create more meaningful, efficient commercial insight
- Contribute to wider business projects focused on growth, performance and continuous improvement
About you
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified, Finalist, Qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong background within commercial finance, FP&A or analytical finance roles
- Confident business partner, comfortable influencing and challenging stakeholders
- Highly analytical with excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience using BI or reporting tools would be advantageous
- Commercially curious, proactive and naturally solutions focused
- Able to work at pace in a dynamic, collaborative environment
