A supportive and forward-thinking school in Oldham is seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to work across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing targeted support to pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
- Using effective strategies to help learners with speech, language and communication needs, including pupils who are non-verbal.
- Supporting children and young people with autism, sensory differences and social communication challenges.
- Managing and responding to challenging behaviour linked to SEMH needs, using a calm and consistent approach.
