An established and highly regarded children's nursery in Deal is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead its dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational early years professional to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and strategic leadership of a thriving nursery committed to delivering exceptional childcare and education.

The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care, learning and safeguarding while creating a positive, supportive environment for children, families and staff.

The Role

The Nursery Manager will

  • Lead, motivate and develop a committed team of early years professionals.
  • Ensure full compliance with the EYFS Framework, safeguarding legislation and Ofsted requirements.
  • Deliver an outstanding learning environment that supports every child's development through high-quality, child-centred practice.
  • Manage recruitment, staffing, training, supervisions and performance.
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
  • Build strong relationships with parents, external agencies and the local community.
  • Oversee all aspects of nursery operations, health and safety, quality assurance and compliance.
  • Support occupancy through excellent customer service and effective nursery promotion.

About You

Applicants should have

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum).
  • At least two years' experience in a nursery leadership or management role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and Ofsted inspection requirements.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding early years education and supporting staff to reach their full potential.

Qualifications such as DSL training, SENCO, Paediatric First Aid or higher Early Years qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
