The Role The Deputy Nursery Manager will work closely alongside the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the nursery. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of care and education, support and motivate staff, ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, and contribute to the continued development of the setting. Key Responsibilities * Supporting the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery * Leading and motivating the staff team to deliver outstanding childcare and education * Ensuring compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery policies * Supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing * Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues * Assisting with staff supervision, training, and development * Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children Candidate Requirements * A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or above * Previous experience in a senior practitioner, room leader, deputy manager, or similar leadership role * Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements * Excellent communication and organisational skills * A positive, proactive, and professional approach * A genuine passion for early years education and childcare Why Join the Team?Rewarding Work Working within the nursery provides the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and their families.
