Talent Drive | B CorpTM are delighted to be supporting a market-leading, multi-site consumer business on a key hire within their Procurement function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technology Category Manager to take full ownership of a broad IT & Digital spend portfolio within a fast paced, transformation led environment.

You will be joining a business investing heavily in technology, where procurement is seen as a true strategic partner. This role offers real visibility, managing and building relationships with stakeholders from software engineers right through to C-suite level, influencing key commercial decisions.

This is a high impact, hands on role where you will:

  • Take full ownership of the Technology category, spanning SaaS, software, infrastructure, networks, cyber security and telecoms
  • Develop and deliver category strategies aligned to business and digital roadmaps
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity including RFPs, negotiations and contract management
  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance and innovation
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Product and Corporate functions
  • Identify and deliver cost optimisation and value creation opportunities
  • Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies, particularly within SaaS
  • Support procurement transformation and best practice across the wider function

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in IT / Technology procurement or category management
  • Strong exposure across a broad tech stack, with a lean towards SaaS
  • Demonstrable experience influencing stakeholders from technical teams through to exec level
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience managing complex supplier landscapes and multi-category spend
  • MCIPS (desirable, not essential)
