Our client, a market leading Data Centre business with offices in London but with an international footprint, has opportunities for a Senior Cost Manager to join their expanding team. Located in London but with projects across the UK and Europe, they are keen to hire experienced cost managers with a focus on Data Centre construction.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You will define how we plan, track, and forecast budgets, commitments, and expenditures, ensuring full cost transparency.
  • You will provide cost leadership across all data centre projects in EMEA, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding project outcomes and enabling future growth.
  • Lead early‐stage project budgeting, develop comprehensive cost programs, establish reporting structures, and deliver robust forecasting models across the full project life cycle.
  • Own and manage the cost coding structures, ensuring seamless integration between construction teams and financial systems.

What You'll Bring:

  • Several years of experience in construction cost management, including responsibilities such as pre‐construction planning, cost management strategies, cost coding structures, commitments, spend and forecast processes, and reviewing contractor cost proposals on major engineering or construction projects.
  • Hands‐on experience with construction cost accounting and financial management software.
  • A strong understanding of the full construction life cycle, from early pre‐design through construction and close‐out.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
