This role will suit someone who is confident managing and influencing stakeholders, willing to think on their own two and leading end-to-end sourcing activity across the category in a busy and fast paced environment.
Category scope is expected to include:
- Technology (Software, AI, IT Security, Hardware, IT Services, SaaS, Digital)
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing sourcing projects from opportunity assessment through to contract award
- Strategic category management, proactively engaging with all levels of stakeholder
- Leading tender processes (RFP/RFQ) and supplier selection
- Supporting contract negotiation and implementation of commercial agreements
- Developing category plans and identifying cost and value opportunities
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders and supporting governance improvements
