Are you a Procurement Category Manager or experienced Procurement Category Buyer with strong Technology category experience looking to step into a high impact, business facing role? Talent Drive are partnering with QinetiQ who are investing heavily in its technology landscape – and looking for someone to help drive value, innovation and commercial outcomes across IT & Digital spend.
Given the nature of the business, you'll be required to obtain SC Clearance.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a technology-led portfolio (SaaS, Software, Digital, IT services), supporting c.£200M of supply chain spend. This is a highly visible role where you’ll influence senior stakeholders, shape sourcing strategies and drive supplier performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead sourcing activity across Software, SaaS, Digital & IT projects
- Influence stakeholders early to shape demand and strategy
- Run tenders and negotiate contracts to deliver commercial value
- Manage supplier relationships, performance and risk
- Support SRM to unlock innovation and long-term value
- Play a key role in ongoing procurement transformation & S2P evolution
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience across Technology procurement (SaaS / Software / Digital)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Proven track record in commercial negotiations
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- MCIPS (or working towards) desirable
