Talent Drive are partnering with a well established services organisation to appoint a Senior Category Manager – IT & Software into a high profile procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT procurement professional to take ownership of a significant technology spend portfolio, working closely with senior stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies, drive commercial value, and support business transformation initiatives.

The Opportunity:

  • You'll be responsible for leading strategic procurement activity across a broad range of IT and Software projects, including: Software, SaaS and Cloud Services, IT Infrastructure & Hardware, Cyber Security and Technology Professional Services

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience managing IT and Software procurement categories within a complex organisation
  • Strong commercial and contract negotiation capability
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
  • Experience delivering strategic sourcing initiatives and measurable cost/value outcomes
  • Knowledge of software licensing, SaaS agreements, cloud services and technology suppliers
  • MCIPS or equivalent procurement qualification desirable
