The Role:
This Category Manager role sits within the central procurement function and focuses on Hard & Soft FM Services categories including:
- Hard Services: Electrical material supply, Lighting, Building Fabric & material supply, Building Services, Plant & Equipment Hire, Plumbing & mechanical, HVAC & refrigeration etc.
- Soft Services: Catering, PPE, Cleaning, Waste Management, Water treatment, Manned Guarding, etc.
- Renewables: EV Charges, Solar goods & services
The role will lead category strategy development, manage supplier frameworks and partner with operational stakeholders to drive value, performance and innovation across the supply chain.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Category Management within FM, construction, engineering or building materials environments.
- Strong understanding of Hard/Soft Services supply chains (materials, plant hire, mechanical/electrical etc.).
- Proven ability to deliver savings, value and supplier performance improvements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and analytical capability.
