This pivotal role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, and driving value through strategic procurement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead category management for medical products, ensuring competitive and effective sourcing. Maintain and enhance supplier relationships, focusing on cost control, quality assurance, and risk management. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support service enhancements and procurement projects. Qualifications and Experience: Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and category management, preferably within the healthcare sector. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop and execute fact-based negotiation strategies. Experience in drafting and managing commercial contracts; basic knowledge of contract law. Demonstrated ability to work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve successful commercial outcomes. Commercial acumen with a focus on total cost of ownership and delivering added value.
