This role will suit someone who is confident managing and influencing stakeholders, willing to think independently, and lead end-to-end sourcing activity across the category in a busy and fast-paced environment.
Category scope is expected to include: Technology (Software, AI, IT Security, Hardware, IT Services, SaaS, Digital).
Key responsibilities will include:- Managing sourcing projects from opportunity assessment through to contract award.
- Strategic category management, proactively engaging with all levels of stakeholders.
- Leading tender processes (RFP/RFQ) and supplier selection.
- Supporting contract negotiation and implementation of commercial agreements.
- Developing category plans and identifying cost and value opportunities.
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders and supporting governance improvements.
- Experience within Technology procurement.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
- Experience working with a range of third-party suppliers.
