Procurement Manager – Food (12-Month FTC)
Location: Hybrid (3 days a week) HQ in Hertfordshire
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to £60,000 + 15% Bonus + additional benefits
A leading name in the Consumer sector is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager – Food to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a fast-paced, guest-focused business.
Working closely with senior procurement, supply chain, and food technical teams, this role will lead end to end procurement and category management activity across a Food spend portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships within the food category
- Deliver best-in-class value through sourcing, negotiating, and contracting
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure supply chain efficiency and food safety compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across product availability, value, and guest experience
- Contribute to wider procurement strategy and support key brand initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrable Food procurement experience, ideally within leisure, hospitality, or retail environments
- Knowledgeable across Food categories, ideally across Meat & Fish
- Strong commercial acumen and supplier negotiation skills
- Sound understanding of food specifications, allergens, and food safety requirements
- A collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
