Procurement Category Manager – Marketing Technology (MarTech)
Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Category Manager to join a nationally recognised brand undergoing a digital and marketing transformation.
This role sits within a collaborative and forward-thinking procurement function, taking ownership of a high-impact spend area that bridges Marketing and Technology, covering MarTech platforms, digital tools, data analytics, CRM, and marketing automation systems.
You’ll play a pivotal role in partnering with Marketing, Digital and IT stakeholders to drive commercial value, innovation, and supplier excellence across a fast-evolving category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement for Marketing Technology (MarTech) categories, including SaaS platforms, digital tools, and marketing data solutions.
- Develop and execute category strategies that deliver value, cost efficiency, and improved supplier performance.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Marketing, IT, and Digital teams to shape strategy and deliver transformation objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, service excellence, and continuous innovation.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in marketing technology, data, and automation to advise the business on best practice and new opportunities.
Ideal Background:
- Proven experience in marketing, digital, or technology procurement, ideally within a large, complex, or fast-paced organisation.
- Understanding of MarTech platforms, CRM systems, marketing analytics, and digital media technology.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Commercially astute, proactive, and passionate about technology innovation and marketing transformation.
