We’re partnering with a well-respected consultancy delivering high-impact procurement solutions across the public sector. As demand for their expertise continues to soar, they’re expanding the team with Principal Consultant hires.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver IT procurement (strategy → sourcing → negotiation → award/mobilisation) across cloud, SaaS, IT services, software/licensing, networks
- Advise on PA23 and embed compliant approaches into templates, governance, processes and approvals
- Produce high-quality written outputs (strategies, procurement documentation, evaluation models, audit trail)
- Engage senior stakeholders and support multi-workstream programmes under scrutiny
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced procurement professionals with a track record in public sector delivery, especially across IT Services.
- Public sector experience: Central Government experience in consulting or directly within government
- PA23 expertise: strong understanding essential; implementation experience or delivering PA23 training is a big plus
- Legal/regulatory confidence: contract law exposure or a law degree highly valued (not essential)
- Proven IT category experience and strong commercial judgement
