A global FinTech business is seeking a Senior Procurement Lead for Outsourcing & BPO (Contact Centres). This role offers a salary of £95,000 to £100,000, annual shares, healthcare, pension, and a 6-week sabbatical every 4 years, among other benefits. The position is based in Central London with a requirement of 2 days a week in the office.

This exciting role involves managing the BPO and Outsourcing category for the UK and key global regions, covering a broad range of outsourced contracts across 11 key geographies, including:

  • Large and high-value contact centre outsourcing
  • KYC
  • Financial Crimes
  • Customer Service
  • Fraud prevention/settlement
  • Technology outsourcing / MSP

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Proactively build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Facilitate regular cross-departmental meetings to ensure alignment between procurement strategies and business objectives.
  • Lead efforts to achieve cost reductions and optimisation of spend across categories.
  • Utilise analytical and financial skills to assess total cost of ownership and budget impact of procurement decisions.
  • Evaluate and support selection of suppliers, utilising robust criteria for quality, price, and reliability.
  • Contribute to the smooth onboarding, relationship management, and offboarding of third-party suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for consolidating suppliers, renegotiating contracts, or initiating new proposals.
  • Develop and implement supplier performance metrics and scorecards, and lead initiatives for supplier improvement and innovation.
  • Mentor and develop procurement team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations while promoting integrity and transparency across all operations.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in BPO & Outsourcing, specifically across Contact Centres, KYC, Financial Crime, Customer Services.
  • Experience in leading and developing commercial strategies within the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in major outsourcing services at a global scale.
  • Proven track record of delivering and exceeding commercial targets.
  • Ability to advise, manage and report risks effectively, providing practical solutions to mitigate them.
  • Experience with sourcing tools, market analysis, and end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Demonstrable ability to evaluate and summarise complex sourcing scenarios, communicating them clearly and pragmatically to different stakeholders and influencing with impact.
